Interdisciplinary Care

The multidisciplinary team at the Northern California Shriners Hospital is made up of individuals with a broad array of expertise and specialties. Each child receives an individualized plan of care based on their unique needs. From medical staff to nurses, therapists and other professionals, the collaborative interdisciplinary model of care places the child and family's values and goals at the center of each interaction. During an inpatient stay, children are seen daily by their physician. The physician works with the full care team to ensure the child receives other specialty services that help them adjust to hospitalization and make the progress needed to safely return home.
