Referrals

Providers, other health professionals and parents can refer a child to Shriners Hospital for Children.

To refer a patient to Shriners Hospital for Children – Northern California, please contact the Referral Center:

To follow up on an admission referral already in process, physicians and case managers can contact Care Management at (916) 453-2090.

A case manager may contact the referring physician to discuss medical history and obtain medical records. Any child under 18 years old is eligible if the child’s condition is within the scope of services the hospital offers. The hospital does not require a physician referral. All care is provided regardless of the family’s ability to pay.
